Squirrel Mail

Squirrel Mail is a good balance between both of NeoMail and Horde in features and accessibility.

All of the buttons and text within are pretty self explanatory on what they do.

Simply visit www.yourwebsite.com/webmail and log in with your username (the email address itself) and password and you're in. It's easy.

Warnings

  • Do not rely on Squirrel Mail as your primary method of email. If your box gets too large, your email will suffer.
  • Do not send emails to more than a dozen people. If you need to send mass emails, please use the email marketing services. Sending bulk emails from your account may result in account termination.

Recommendations

  • Go into the settings and increase the number of emails you can see on a given page.
  • Delete your spam and junk filter from time to time (click "purge")
  • Create folders and move your emails into the folders once they are read and done with. For example, make one folder for each client or associate and place it in there when you are done.
